Scholarship Columbia is the primary donor-funded scholarship for continuing juniors and seniors at Columbia College Chicago. Giving to Scholarship Columbia directly supports high-achieving junior and senior undergraduate students with financial need. Donors to Scholarship Columbia are committed to ensuring that students have the financial means to complete their degree.

Support for Scholarship Columbia is deeply appreciated by our students. Below are words of thanks from a few of the 2015-16 Scholarship Columbia recipients:

“Because of this scholarship I'll be able to finish my education and graduate within the time frame that I had hoped. My path through the academic world has been wayward at times, but upon deciding to attend Columbia College Chicago I have known precisely what I want. My first semester included 16 credit hours combined with two different jobs to pay for my living arrangements. I finished the semester with a 3.94 GPA. I have every intention of applying the same fervor toward all of my future academic challenges.”

-Clayton ’17

“Growing up in a single parent home and being labeled as a non-citizen have always been obstacles I have had to deal with in the United States. Nevertheless, my determination and passion for getting an education have brought me to where I am today. My greatest desire is to gain as much knowledge as I can during my college career and use it as a tool to enrich low income communities through the arts. Scholarship Columbia will facilitate my ability to pay for my tuition and get me a step closer to my goals.”

-Alina ’16

“It is thanks to your contribution that I will have the financial ability to complete my education and to transition more easily to the working world. I cannot express how much your generosity has touched me, and I cannot say enough about what excitement and joy I receive from your contribution as I enter my final year at Columbia.”
